POSITION SUMMARY: As a leading provider of manufacturing services and solutions, we seek an experienced executive to join the executive team. You will lead three key departments that oversee operations across the board - Advanced Manufacturing, Lean & Continuous Improvement, as well as EH&S programs for better efficiency in line with industry standards!

The ideal candidate should have significant experience managing people at every level, from entry-level positions to director/vice president levels. We also want someone ready to take on increased responsibilities as we advance. And, increasing market share while meeting customer needs becomes increasingly challenging each day without new innovators coming on board regularly.

ADDITIONAL OVERVIEW: This experienced and well-rounded executive will be a valuable addition to our team. With their solid operational skills, this individual shouldered heavy P&L responsibilities in the past with several companies—he'll bring a fresh perspective on how we can do things better than ever before!

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work across multiple business units to recommend and implement immediate improvements to manufacturing, safety, quality and materials operations
  • Lead the organization in the application of advanced manufacturing engineering solutions at all BU’s
  • Assume ownership for the continued lean transformation across the entire company
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational and commercial challenges across the enterprise
  • Take lead in managing the activities of the team assigned to executing the strategy for acquisition targets
  • Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the company’s operations
  • Develop models and business metrics in coordination with functional leaders to identify key risks and meaningful opportunities for improvement

MUST HAVE:

  • A proven track record of driving best practices across multiple locations/businesses to improve productivity and profitability throughout operations with leading-edge management practices, the innovative use of technology, and cost reduction tactics
  • Significant experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Toyota Production System, Danaher Business System, Total Quality Management) 
  • A minimum of 10 years as a senior executive in manufacturing operations/continuous improvement roles
  • 15 to 20 years of overall business experience in an industrial manufacturing setting in roles of increasing responsibility
  • A well-rounded functional background including manufacturing operations, lean, continuous improvement, as well as direct operation P&L experience of at least $1B
  • Hands-on experience in a multisite/multi-business environment
  • 50+ percent travel
