You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within United States as you take on some tough challenges. Option to work out of a U.S. UHG office

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply statistical methods to evaluate economic and clinical program performance
  • Identify and deploy appropriate analytic techniques to solve complex business problems and overcome measurement challenges
  • Build statistical models and perform descriptive analyses to measure outcomes and improve program performance
  • Perform analytic dataset creation and statistical modeling and summarize results
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, explain methods and interpret findings
  • Manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet non-negotiable deadlines
  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them

Required Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree or higher in public health, health services research, biostatistics or related experience/proficiency with statistical techniques such as logistic regression, predictive models, multivariate analysis and linear models
  • 3+ years of experience in health care analytics and working with large medical claims data sets
  • Advanced proficiency with SAS programming

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
