Overview of the Senior Investment Accountant role:

• Review of annual property operating budgets and annual plan
• Review & analysis of monthly operating reports, cash flows and quarterly cash flow and projections
• Review and analysis of tier and project level financial statements
• Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations & review of monthly trend reports
• Reviews general ledgers, on a monthly basis, for accuracy and completeness
• Understands purpose and procedures of financial statement audits as performed by external auditors
• Prepare wire transfers which fund normal operations, distributions, etc. Prepare and / or review other requested reports and schedules as required by public filings
• Works with Accounting Managers to ensure GAAP entries are recorded correctly

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Investment Accountant:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Oracle/JD Edwards experience
• Public Accounting experience
