11:11 is looking for an experienced, dynamic Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for execution and ongoing evolution of 11:11s Cloud IaaS, Disaster Recovery (DRaaS), Security, Connectivity and Cloud Backup go-to-market strategy. This individual contributor must be capable of, not only crafting a compelling marketing strategy for our products, but crisply and effectively communicating it in both written and verbal forms to both business and technical audiences.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in any of the following areas: Cloud Hosting, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), IT Security, Network Connectivity, and/or IT services. Entering this role with an understanding of this fast-paced market and the direction it is going is a must. Being proactive, hands-on, and execution-focused, with the ability to create a vision and drive a complex project through to completion is required. Being able to establish credibility with sales, prospects, customers, industry analysts, and partners, as well as with product management and technical audiences is imperative to success in the role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Craft 11:11s product marketing messaging, at a high level and at a detailed, solution-capability level

  • Create and update primary artifacts for this initiative

  • Guide sales team in terms of value and differentiation, translate product features into value statements and competitive differentiation

  • Create sales enablement presentations and content

  • Be a competitive catalyst identify key competitors, desired positioning, and intelligence focal point

  • Routinely engage sales, both in support of deals and to enable them on new and existing offerings

  • Act as an evangelist to the market via blogs, webinars, and speaking opportunities

  • Create appropriate artifacts to reduce sales friction and improve sales productivity

  • Communicate with and influence industry analysts

  • All other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities

  • Quantitative - Defines key customer metrics for the initiative; assists development and integration of customer references into materials

  • Leadership - Leads product launches across all integrated marketing functions

  • Supportive - Supports related sales initiatives, demand and awareness programs/campaigns, adapts solutions and artifacts to sell through these initiatives, supports field programs and the field directly on top opportunities

  • Accountable Drives the initiative through to completion with a high level of quality

  • Presentation - Presents the product/solution internally and externally

  • Collaborative Collaborate across other Product Marketing Managers to connect relevant solutions, value drivers, and initiatives; a partner of R&D and Product Management communicates value, success/failure in, translates features into value, and guides product strategy

  • Advocacy - Advocates for products aggressively; increases mindshare in the sales and marketing community

Acceptance be recognized by the field sales organization (the primary customer for product marketing), as a credible, reliable, and trustworthy resource. Individual must have demonstrated field demand for participation in prospect and customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum of 5 years of Product Marketing experience in the technology field

  • Strong customer and business acumen

  • Proven track record of success with sales and customers

  • Global customer and market experience a plus

  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills

  • Optimism and ability to avoid frustration during difficult times

  • Strong relationship building, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

  • Up to 10% travel
