Position Network Analyst Role:
Ensure the computer network enhances business operations.
Analyze network performance, provide network support, and perform system maintenance tasks.
Exhibit extensive experience in configuring networks and providing IT support.
Uphold high network administration standards and strive toward innovation.
Resolve connectivity issues.
Configure hardware and software to optimize network communication.
Monitor and maintain firewalls.
Set up LAN and WAN networks, as well as Voice Over IP.
Manage IP address schemas and VLAN configurations.
Monitor and maintain network servers and performing upgrades.
Perform system administration tasks and ensuring network security.
Document processes and monitoring network performance metrics.
Consult with internal departments and training IT support staff.
Keep up with advancements in network technologies and solutions.
Reports to IT Manager.
Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings.
Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
Network Analyst Background Profile:
Requires minimum 5 years’ experience without degree, 3-5years with a degree.
In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and network installation techniques.
Exceptional ability to provide network support and resolve errors.
Experience with Palo Alto, Meraki, Cisco, Avaya, and Aruba network gear.
Experience with Windows Server 2019 and Hypervisor environment.
Any Microsoft Azure experience a plus.
Advanced knowledge of network setup and security.
Ability to keep up with advancements in IT network technologies.
Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
Exceptional communication skills.
The IT department is a 24/7/365 department such that as an employee needs assistance they will
be provided it through the proper channels based on normal working hours, expanded
working hours or emergency support hours.
Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and shop environments and is regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.
Travel requirements will be rarely required.
