Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Under minimum supervision, leads, sponsors, is a member of, or a technical resource to teams chartered to achieve assigned performance improvement goals and objectives.

• Works as a technical resource to support manufacturing by providing engineering support.

• Identifies complex manufacturing process problems and develops solutions and improvements, evaluates part designs for manufacturability, and works with design engineers and FPD teams to improve costs and/or enhance quality.

• Provides assistance to other engineer in multiple manufacturing centers and may direct activities of assigned support personnel and other engineers on a project basis.

• Performs both engineering calculations and various statistical and financial analyses as required.

• Develops, documents, and maintains plant layouts, process flows, tooling, jigs, fixtures, test equipment, procedures, etc. using appropriate engineering tools.

• May assume responsibilities of a team leader on certain projects and responsibilities of Mfg. Engineering Manager in his/her absence.
