We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Human Resources Partner to join our Houston office. This role is primarily an employee relations focused position that provides support to all levels of staff.
Responsibilities span many aspects of human resources including:
+ Employee relations activities such as integration and retention, coaching and performance management, terminations, teambuilding, conflict resolution and career development.
+ Serves as a benefits point-of-contact, including responding to questions and educating employees on company benefit programs.
+ Manages leaves of absence, including FMLA and Disability.
+ Assists in developing and facilitating training programs.
+ Leads special projects that have company-wide impact.
+ 3+ years of human resources experience, with a strong preference in a professional services industry
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Working knowledge of labor and employment law
+ Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and HRIS experience
+ Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication, presentation, and relationship building
+ PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP strongly preferred
+ Ability to travel 25% of the time.
