Responsibilities of the HR Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department
  • Assist in organization of company trainings, HR events, and charity events
  • Assist with safety compliance processes to include completion of safety questionnaires
  • Consult with employees and management concerning COVID-19
  • Respond to Unemployment Claims
  • Coordinate and track Master Service Agreements and Certificates of Insurance
  • Document internal workflow and work procedures to improve department efficiency
  • Ensure DXP HR Intranet site is up to date
  • Order office supplies
  • Manage DXP’s Safety Award program and order promotional items as needed
  • Labor Law Posters
  • Maintain the E-Verify and Form I-9 Process
  • Process department invoicing
  • Respond to Employment Verification requests
  • Process and assess periodic and ad-hoc HRIS/Workday reports
  • Maintain online HR & Safety training portal
  • Create and maintain physical and electronic personnel files
  • Respond to general policy-related employee questions
  • Assist HR Team as needed to include other employee relations and engagement projects as assigned

Qualifications of the HR Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, additional Business/HR-related courses is a plus
  • 1-2 years of previous office administration experience required, preferably in Human Resources
  • Must uphold strict confidentiality, be team oriented and a results oriented self starter
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resource functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and professional customer service demeanor
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency and accuracy
  • Computer literate (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Physically able to file (bending and standing for periods of time)
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • 40+ hours a week • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

Shift Time/Overtime: Monday – Friday (8AM - 5PM - Hybrid)
