Oversee the entire HR function: payroll and taxes, benefit and employee leave administration, talent/performance management, recruitment/hiring, employee engagement, employee relations and conflict resolutions, D&I initiatives, company culture, employment law and compliance.
Serves as a strategic partner to the CHRO, CEO and COO to help drive people initiatives to achieve short and long-term business objectives.
Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
Acquiring, development and retention of human capital and the refinement of the talent management processes
Oversee recruitment, interview, selection, hiring and onboarding process and execute best practices for hiring, retention and talent management.
Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
Provide strategic direction and execution of the company's employee development programs and initiatives.
Partner with the leadership team to formulate, develop, implement, and evaluate talent management, and succession planning processes inclusive of annual performance evaluations, leadership assessments and internal talent movement.
Create and administer the company's performance management and formal employment action policy and procedures including performance improvement plans.
Administer and oversee the administration of the human resources team and programs including but not limited to; compensation; benefits and leave; disciplinary matters disputes and investigations; performance and talent management
Develop and manage an integrated and effective HR technology and digitalization strategy, with a focus on using technology to seamlessly deliver compensation and benefits, HR information, performance management, and communication services to employees and managers.
Provide strategic direction and oversight to the ongoing design, enhancement, implementation and administration on all compensation and benefits programs.
Manage the union contract and participates in contract negotiations.
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, Practice, and resources to upper management.
Development of an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, engagement, continuous improvement and high performance through employee engagement and recognition programs. Revitalize and reinvigorate company mission and values.
Evaluate departmental procedures to streamline and/or automate processes, improve customer service, reduce paper-flow, and improve human resources data management; plans and implements changes as required.
Work with IT team to design, integrate and implement human resource software systems for better efficiency.
Lead and develop the HR team.
