job summary:

We are working on the following Senior Leadership role in Houston that will oversee and support all U.S. facilities of a successful, high volume, multi-state distributor. .

This position will have nationwide responsibility for Finance and Accounting. Reporting directly to the CFO and collaborating extensively with the Executive team and Board, this role will be instrumental in paving the projected growth and expansion of the organization throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities:

• Support project analysis, validation of plans and ad-hoc requests.

• Collaborate with M&A integration of accounting and administrative functions when needed

• Responsibility for daily cash reporting and analysis.

• Partner with senior leadership in providing and reviewing monthly/quarterly financial reporting with external and internal constituencies.

• Drive continuing development and implementation of annual budgeting process along with forward looking forecasts and on-going analysis versus plan, prior year and forecast.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis

• Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions

• Experience developing and leading high level strategic initiatives

• Ability to synthesize large quantities of data into actionable information.

• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI a plus.

  • 4-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Travel will be required and will vary month-to-month based on project needs; 25% mix is the annual estimate.
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI a plus.
  • Experience using Epicor Prelude and Avalara is preferred
