About the Role

Here at Indeed Flex, we are poised to expand rapidly into new markets, new verticals, and new geographies. As we recruit Flexers to the app to work jobs, we need to cultivate need for those workers. That's where the Business Development Manager comes in. Your role will be to generate new business for Indeed Flex in the Light Industrial, Clerical, and Hospitality sectors. You will secure new contracts to support the sales organization in growing our business, increasing our market share, and eliminating the need for temporary/gig workers to turn to traditional staffing agencies to find employment. You will play a critical role in reshaping the Future of Work in the US. You'll support new and existing clients to deliver outstanding results, helping to reduce costs, improve performance, and encouraging the utilization of technology to help people get jobs.

Requirements

  • Develop new opportunities for business through market research, cold calling, and internal collaboration with other sales groups at Indeed Flex
  • Build a presence and lasting relationships in the community by being present at area businesses to generate contacts and leads, to deliver presentations on the Flex platform, and to build lasting partnerships with our clients
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within the Light Industrial, Clerical, and Hospitality sectors, promoting and converting the sales pipeline
  • Deliver confident, well-researched, and tailored Flex solutions to key decision makers and close new business for the company
  • Share best practices, white papers, and business cases with potential and existing clients to secure new business and expand opportunities with existing clients

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Business Development with preferred experience in Staffing, Staff Augmentation, RPO, or related space
  • Demonstrable success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Expertise in lead generation, market research, pipeline generation, and sales conversions
  • Highly proficient with building rapport quickly in face-to-face as well as digital settings
  • Highly proficient in managing multiple sales processes through to completion
  • Highly proficient with B2B sales and lead generation
  • Extraordinary communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate and close deals with decision makers from various backgrounds at all levels of organizations
  • Tech savvy with the ability to learn new systems and input data quickly for reporting, CRM, and communication
  • Highly visible on social media platforms with a good reputation in the community
  • Strong understanding of the Indeed Flex platform, the benefits to utilize the platform, and the pros of using Indeed Flex over traditional staffing agency models
