Account Manager- Government Software

Summary: Multiple years INC 500 award winning software company is looking for multiple Account Managers to expand across the United States. The Account Manager serves as the direct link between the client and their current customers. This position is responsible for generating cross-sell business within their assigned territory. Using excellent relationship-management skills, the Account Managers build interest in expanding a customer's portfolio of offerings through consultative sessions and interactive demonstrations.


  • Clearly and succinctly communicate the company's value proposition
  • Respond to correspondence from clients in timely manner
  • Sell web-based software solutions to assigned customer accounts
  • Generates new opportunities through a variety of prospecting and journey mapping activities
  • Maintain excellent documentation regarding customer accounts
  • Aggressively close business through short o mid-length sales cycles
  • Works to improve overall customer satisfaction in assigned customer accounts
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Able to travel frequently and efficiently across a large geographic territory with little down time between periods of travel


  • Strong persuasive, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • A solid track record of selling software application deals in similar markets preferred
  • Customer-focused and anticipate client needs and concerns
  • Ability to prioritize multiple task / deadlines

Pay Range: $50-80k yearly + up to Double Base


Direct Hire Position, Unable to Sponsor Now, Unable to Sponsor in Future, no c2c, no 1099.
