Description

Reporting to the EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer, the VP – HR Strategy and PMO will have an immediate impact on streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, communicating priorities between Centers of Expertise and building out HR analytics. The role is based in Houston and leads a small team.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee strategic HR initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior HR leadership
  • Assist and communicate with the HR leadership team in decision-making, program management, initiative implementation and project tracking
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
  • Create project management system (trackers, sequencing, impact analysis etc.) for all HR initiatives and ensure communication methods/updates are developed and change management is incorporated
  • Build strategy and update materials for CHRO or HR leadership to present
  • Build out HR analytics

Ideal Experience

  • 10-15 years in HR
  • Experience planning and leading strategic HR initiatives
  • Master’s Degree in business administration, HR or similar field

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven success in a project coordination role
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience with budget management
