Overview of the Senior Tax Accountant Role:

• Prepare and file various types of tax returns on behalf of clients

• Identify basic tax problems

• Compile supporting financial statements and documents

• Research tax issues and staying up to date on changes

• Correspond with the IRS and assist with federal and state audits

• Analyze and summarize tax information into workpapers
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Tax Accountant:

• 3+ years of public tax accounting experience

• CPA Licensed or CPA Eligible

• Bachelors Accounting Degree

• Experience on individual trust income tax compliance and gift tax return preparation is a plus!

• Strong attention to detail, communication, organizational skills
