Senior Plumbing Detailer Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Senior Plumbing Detailer in Houston, TX is between $35 to $50/hour depending on experience and presentation in interviews, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Senior Plumbing Detailer Duties & Responsibilities

• Will be required to build out projects related to commercial: hospitals, institutions, hotels $2-$20M in value
• Responsible for performing all aspects of drawing process start to finish
• Take contract drawings and submittals into 3D format
• Review customer specs, details, and installation instructions
• Prepare coordination meetings and run them
• Utilize modeling software including AutoCAD and Revit
• Will be responsible for establishing and reviewing CAD files provided by the architect
• Responsible for developing flow diagrams

Senior Plumbing Detailer Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree related to drafting or design is preferred, can be replaced by adequate filed experience
• 10+ years of plumbing construction experience
• 5 years of field plumbing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical construction field: plumbing, pipping and/or HVAC
• Knowledge of CAD process and procedures
• Proficient in modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• AutoCAD certification is a plus
