Description:

As a Retail Marketing Manager, US Key Account(s) , you will be responsible for the design, development, execution, and measurement of go-to-market (GTM) marketing plans across key retail account(s) in the US. This includes full Partner ecosystem marketing management from Retail in-store / online to Retail Advertising. This role will serve as the CMO of the Partner (US key retail accounts) leading merchandising, advertising, promotion, campaign, and event brand activation strategy and deployment of HPs complete Consumer Portfolio across US key retail account(s). This position is on HPs North America Retail Marketing team and will collaborate and develop deep integration with key internal and external stakeholders across HP Cross-Functional Teams (Sales, Category, Brand Marketing, Product Development, Shopper Insights, Retail Communications, Media etc.) as well as across key retail account(s) (Retail: Vendor Management & Marketing/Merchandising, Advertising, Operations, etc.). The leader of this role will define the brand activation vision and strategy across key retail account(s) in partnership with North American Sales, Category, and Retail Communications teams and mobilize the best-in-class deployment and impact of programming across retail partners ecosystem. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Retail Marketing Relationship across HPs Portfolio directly with and across key retail account(s)

  • Drive, Develop, and Deploy revolving, full year key retail account(s) GTM marketing strategy and plans; define KPIs to measure success of tactics; construct and operationalize full-year retailer promotional calendars across HPs Consumer Portfolio; in partnership with Sales, Category, and Digital Business Development Teams, as well as with Strategic Partners (Intel, Google, Microsoft, etc)

  • Manage and Mobilize Best in Class Retail Marketing Execution for Maximum Sales Conversion Impact across retailers Ecosystem in-store and online; Develop, negotiate, mobilize, and measure sell-in and sell out programs that drive profitable sales in partnership with key retail account(s), Sales, and Category teams.

  • Champion strategic planning and execution of key retail account(s) merchandising and promotional plans to support Sales, US Marketing, Brand, and key retail account(s) event priorities across retailers entire ecosystem (Retail, Advertising, etc).

  • Orchestrate customer business reviews in partnership with Sales team by performing business analysis, translating findings into actionable insights, and developing impactful presentations to deliver fact-based recommendations

  • Pursue new key retail account(s) marketing activities & mobilize asset/content coordination to positively impact sales, profitability, and customer experience in partnership with Retail Communications and CX Team.

  • Deliver Omnichannel Category Leading Brand Presentation across key retail account(s) in partnership with Retail Communications & CX Team across both Store/B&M and Online/eTail Channels (Stores/B&M: POG, Endcap/Sales Planner, Backwall, Online/Etail: Online Category Storefronts, Brand Pages, Product Detail Page, Advertising, etc.)

  • Lead Brand Activation and Promotional Planning with key retail account(s) Vendor Managers, HP Sales, and HP Retail Communications & CX teams

  • Development and Management of Full Year Retail Marketing Calendar for US Key Account(s) considering all HP Product Launches, HP Promotions, HP Campaigns, Retailer Specific Category Events, Retailer Specific Corporate Enterprise Events, Seasonal Calendar, etc.

  • Complete thorough analysis of marketing programs (ie. promotions, merchandising, brand stores) and lead analytics to determine ROI and optimization in partnership with Digital Business Development team

  • Perform key retail account(s), promotional, market share, competitive analysis and identify insights to actions to drive business growth and impact. Collaborate with Consumer Insights teams to optimize and pursue new trends and opportunities

  • Synthesize key data points and identify trends and recommend activities to maximize sales conversion and deliver an optimal customer experience at key retailer account(s) in-store and online

  • Partner with In-house media agency to analyze and optimize HPs retail Advertising efforts:

  • Partner with Sales, Category, Retail Marketing, Retail Communications, Digital Business Development, Media, and other cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated marketing efforts to drive key retail account(s) profitable sales growth

  • Play key leadership role in the development and presentation of Quarterly Business Reviews with key retail account(s) in partnership with Sales, Category, and Digital Business Development Teams to Deliver Best in Class Planning that drives action and the business forward

  • Be the voice of the key retail account(s) business internally and be able to construct and present strategic marketing initiatives and results internally across stakeholders

  • Strategize with internal marketing teams to maximize and integrate broader worldwide and NA market marketing campaigns for activation at key retail account(s); Drive Retail orientation and integration internally across the organization.

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA or BS in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years work experience in Retail Omnichannel, and/or Marketplace environments.

  • Consumer Marketing experience, CPG experience preferred.

  • Experience in Retail Marketing across a wide portfolio and with Key Omnichannel and/or eCommerce Retailer

  • Creative agency management, channel marketing, Retail Media advertising experience a plus.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 7 years work experience in Retail Online & In-store, and/or Marketplace environments.

  • High Tech or CPG Pureplay or Omnichannel Retail Marketing Background

  • In-depth knowledge of Retail Marketing Strategic Planning and Activation/Promotion principles, practices, tactics, and tools

  • Strong quantitative business analysis, retail math, promotional ROI, and online retail measurement skills

  • Ability to identify the key business questions and insights in problem solving and designing programs to address

  • Understanding of the customer shopper journey and various key touch points across Online Environments/Marketplaces/In-store merchandising

  • Strong planning, organization, execution, and project management skills - detail-oriented.

  • Capable of analyzing partner relevant business data and designing shopper centric promotions with effective marcom messaging and creative across Online & In-store Retail merchandising and media

  • Passion for eCommerce Retail and Industry Leading High-Tech Products and Services

  • Passion for HPs Consumer Products Portfolio across Personal Systems and Print Categories

  • Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management and functional disciplines.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus.

  • Strong presentation and overall communications skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and a bias for making data-driven decisions.

  • Self-starter with ability to navigate ambiguous or new situations with little guidance.
