Position Overview: Support the Lean Management Team in implementing lean manufacturing practices and organizational culture. Coordinate Lean training, process improvement and program development events as directed by the Lean Manufacturing Manager. Conduct activities as a role model for Lean implementation. Assist managers, supervisors, and team leaders across the organization to implement holistic Lean practices under the supervision of the Lean Management Team. Support cross functional process improvement teams and coordinate team activities. Perform analysis of key operational data to identify root causes and develop improvement plans. Monitor and report process improvement project implementations and savings generated. Solid understanding and hands on implementation of lean manufacturing tools required. Responsibilities: Lead and support Kaizen events Participate in lean implementation and technology roadmap definitions Support Digitization initiatives and implementation Identify nonproductive activities Develop, recommend and implement cost saving plans Execute continuous improvement initiatives with supervision Support accurate documentation of processes Participate and lead lean assessments Develop interpersonal relationships which encourage openness, candor and trust across the organization Support change management roll of the Lean Manufacturing Team Perform statistical analysis of processes Required Knowledge/Skill/Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. 2+ years experience in manufacturing, lean process improvement, or related experience/education Intermediate SAP knowledge and experience. Microsoft 365 tools Lean or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred Where permitted by applicable law, Siemens may require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 based on job requirements, and in accordance with an accommodation based on legally protected reasons. Lean tools required knowledge: Value Stream Mapping, Value Stream Analysis and Value Stream Design VSM holistic approach. Kaizen Kanban Poka Yoke 5s A3 Milk run Heijunka Lean Cell assessment/design One Piece Flow Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Education: Visio Programing in Excel Experience creating dashboards/interactive reports using tools such as Power BI/Tableau is a plus.
