It is tough being a great litigation paralegal! Every firm seems to have different expectations. The salary/pay seems to vary widely. It is a demanding job that (from what we hear) often includes rude (or worse) attorneys. And all this while trying to focus on making the lives (and cases) better for the person who was injured and needs help.
This is a great job for a paralegal that is great at what she/he does and loves being a part of a team. If you have always been a high performer (you know who you are) then you have had situations where your production was not acknowledged. At the Husband and Wife Law Team we do things differently and it is why so many of our team members have been with us a long time.
First, every company loves to claim they have a great culture. We live it. Our company values do not just hang on the walls, they are part of who we are. If you are just looking for "a job" you will probably not love it here. We are a group of people that passionately pursue our clients' best outcome. We work together and help each other. It is different.
Second, far too many great employees are not recognized for their success. At our office, we measure the things that matter- client happiness, case outcomes relative to expectations, and moving cases through the process in a timely manner. In doing that, our (many) high performers not only know they do a great job - we know it, as well. (Yes, we really do survey our clients to see how they are doing and ask them about their relationship with their paralegals. We care a lot about the client experience and most of our paralegals get exceptional scores from our clients.)
We have heard of case many firms where case loads make great service and results virtually impossible. We can discuss (and even show you) how we keep our case counts reasonable so our high standards can be met.
We are looking for experienced, motivated, caring team members that want to be a part of a team making a difference. We have two openings for the right litigation paralegal. Both will have the chance to help people who have been badly hurt, but one will work side-by-side with a lead trial attorney helping the most significantly injured on the most complicated cases. The other will also help people who have been seriously injured and will be a part of a team working together on the cases.
If you are interested, we would love to hear from you and have a discussion. If you want to know more, reach out to us and we can explain how we have grown the right way, putting clients and team members first.
