The REMIS Program at Leidos currently has an opening for a Material Coordinator to work in our Webster, Texas facility. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the REMIS program achieve NASA’s mission.
Daily duties for this position include placing procurements, managing inventory stores, tracking shipments, coordinating hardware calibration, supporting Government property audits, transporting Government property, and supporting overall facility needs.
The candidate must have the following:
Prior experience using Maximo v7.6 for procurement, inventory management, and hardware receiving
Prior experience handling and tracking Government Property in accordance with NASA FAR Part 45
Prior experience using a Form DD1149 for hardware transfer of responsibility & accountability
Prior experience using FedEx and other freight forwarding companies for shipment of goods
High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with NASA JSC Shipping and Receiving
Experience with Hazardous Goods Declaration
Experience handling, storing and transporting NASA flight hardware
This position requires successful completion of a government background check to access government facilities and/or systems. If you are not a United States Citizen or Green Card holder, this check could take 12-18 months to complete.
