Description

LHH is currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal for a well-established firm in Houston, Texas. This full time position is onsite with a great team, competitive pay, and great benefits! If you are an experience paralegal looking to step up in your career, apply here! 

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence, including motions and pleadings
  • Preparing correspondence, emails, and other legal documents
  • Maintaining calendar and deadline reminder systems
  • Preparing and responding to discovery; handling heavy trial prep from discovery through trial, including preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, subpoenas, etc.
  • Utilizing docket at attorney/paralegal request to look up routine matters, case numbers or upcoming deadlines

    • Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the legal field
  • Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal certification preferred
  • Ability to multitask and handle heavy caseloads
  • Experience with complex litigation 
  • Experience with Trial Preparation and Trial Attendance 
  • Experience with document management systems and eDiscovery Platforms, such as Relativity 
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
