salary: $110,000 - 130,000 per year

work hours: 8 to 5

education: Bachelor's degree

responsibilities:

Provides guidance to managers and leadership regarding compliance, laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Oversees day to day operation of the HR department, including day to day guidance to the HR team.

Responsible for Compensation and Benefits strategy, working closely with vendors and brokers to optimize programs.

Ability to analyze data and derive conclusions and recommendations for management team to consider, include in depth compensation analysis

Develop employee retention initiatives in partnership with department heads and management team. Recommend and execute on agreed upon plans.

Work closely with Counsel to develop and deliver compliance programs to employees.

Promote and foster a healthy work environment; raise awareness of available programs to assist employees.

Manage the HR budget and ensure financial actions are timely handled.

Oversee all corporate communications and manage emergency responses to all employees.

Responsible for managing end to end recruiting and ensure yearly staffing plans are built and approved.

Provide feedback and development planning for all HR staff to ensure long term continuity for the department.

Continue evolution of company's performance management system and manage yearly process for the whole company

 

qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with MS Office Suite, prefer expertise with Excel

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the company's HRIS, ADP payroll and similar employee management software.

Strong bias for action, moving quickly and efficiently in a trading environment

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

Ten (10) plus years' experience of broad Human Resources experience, with experience in a multi-cultural/multi-lingual corporate environment.

SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification highly desired

Experience working with an energy company, preferably midstream or supply & trading company.

Demonstrated ability to deliver complex and sophisticated HR projects company wide with effective change management techniques
