Our client is a multi-specialty medical group with over 40 physicians serving the Greater Houston area. They are single source for all their patient’s healthcare needs by providing comprehensive care with their onsite pharmacy and diagnostic services including: Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Ancillary Diagnostic Services, Hematology, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Pulmonology, and Rheumatology.

Healthcare Administrator

As the Healthcare Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the healthcare facilities.

Essential Functions:

  • Strategic planning of operations management within the respective facility or entity responsible for healthcare services
  • Responsible for ensuring QBR meetings for each location are scheduled and appropriate data and minutes are presented and recorded
  • Oversees merger and acquisitions
  • Oversee and organize planning and development of facility-based expansion
  • Board governance oversight including board membership, meetings, strategic planning
  • Oversight of organizational growth and development
  • Management of corporate team to include revenue cycle, contracting & credentialing, marketing, research, facility management, and ancillary services
  • Oversight of physician committee structure of the board
  • Collaborate with compliance department to ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations
  • Architecting short, medium, and long-term organizational strategy
  • Developing new policies and procedures to better serve the patient population
  • Monitoring of master budgets and budgetary allocations
  • Introduction of productivity measures in the workplace
  • Oversee management of outsourced business services and communication with third parties or service providers
  • Oversee management and introduction of technological updates like the use of new software for record management
  • Compile reporting
  • Creation of an emergency plan for adverse events and unforeseen circumstances
  • Ensuring communication to healthcare providers about new regulations and providing training, if necessary
  • Ensuring effective communication of new policies and procedures to staff, and providers
  • Serving as liaison between the facility staff, management, and governance
  • Serve as company liaison with hospital, payer, network and other market relationships
  • Serve as liaison with medical staff to identify inefficiencies in clinic operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
