Work extremely closely with the CEO and own finance and operations at a busy time when the company will double in size and expand into Europe in the next few years.
You’ll be coming in at the beginning of an expansion plan backed by $15m in funding. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the finance and operations departments and driving the expansion of the business in collaboration with the CEO and the rest of the board members. They’ve already built a strong technology product that’s gathering momentum, which is why now is the perfect time for this expansion.
As with most start-ups and SMEs, your role is going to be wide ranging and varied. On top of the typical Head of Finance aspects – FP&A, board reports, management accounts, etc – you’ll also develop all governance procedures, support the CEO with M&A, fundraising/capital raises and make sure the finance function is ready for the move into Europe.
It’s essential you’ve worked at this level within Finance and Operations before and that you have knowledge of Transfer Pricing, EU Finance (VAT for example), M&A and Fundraising. It’s also really important that you’ve created and managed credit facilities for start-ups and/or SMEs in a SaaS environment in the past.
With Series A-C funding planned in the future, you also need to have experience in fundraising through some or all of these funding rounds.
