Company is seeking an Executive Vice President of Media to join our talented and growing team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the Media Department which includes media planning, client growth and management, analytics, ads trafficking, ads compliance and creative functions.  They will develop and execute strategies and programs related to the management of media and advertising across Podcasts, terrestrial radio, satellite radio, streaming audio platforms and YouTube. Additionally, the EVP will provide overall department and client direction by analyzing and aligning business objectives, business economics and customer needs.  This individual will be a material and visible leader of our organization both externally and internally. 


  • Set overall vision and direction for the team, including implementing strategic short and long-term budget investments and keeping on top of industry trends and best in class tools
  • Responsible for overseeing ARM’s client growth and management strategies. This includes growing existing clients through service, performance, cross-sells and/or upsells, but also participating in the support of new business initiatives as needed.
  • Engage clients and client teams to evaluate the success or failure of all advertising/marketing initiatives, and plan for course correction and/or continual success as appropriate
  • Analyze program results, translate the data, and use it to create internal and external tools and references
  • Oversee and build a best-in-class creative department specific to the creation of audio/endorsement advertising
  • Meet with clients if and when necessary to build and maintain relationships
  • Collaborate with internal client teams to identify opportunities for growth within existing client accounts and present innovative ideas to clients on an ongoing basis
  • Monitor trends in the marketing and advertising industry and ensure the Media Department (and our agency) is prepared for potential changes within the sector and positioned for success as an industry leader
  • Implement departmental policies and practices and manage the department's financial performance (profit and loss)
  • Participate in the marketing of Company and advocacy of audio media through participation in event speaking opportunities, conference attendance, media support, etc…
  • Build and sustain relationships with partners, vendors, and consultants as needed to develop scalable solutions that maximize operational efficiency and measure/monitor success of solutions
  • Provide leadership, direction, and training to the team following industry best practice processes.
  • Drive development of documentation related to processes, methodologies, workflows, and operational guidelines
  • Maintain oversight of assigned team responsibilities and workflow within the department.
  • Develop employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth
  • Develop the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning
  • Supervise the training of new employees


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of marketing and advertising experience (Experience working with both large legacy brands and high-growth DTC brands is a plus)
  • Strong digital marketing and web analytics background
  • Recognized industry leader; strong executive presence; solid track record of strategic accomplishments in companies experiencing rapid growth and expansion
  • Proven ability to effectively lead large cross functional teams in the completion of high-profile projects
  • Exceptional interpersonal, team building, and facilitation skills required. Ability to effectively communicate and interact across diverse audiences
  • Ability to influence direction on a wide range of department issues
  • Must possess strong decision-making skills
  • Must be a creative thinker with strategic and analytical prowess
  • Must be able to manage, direct, and guide direct reports and teams across the organization
  • Must have meticulous attention to detail with strong project management skills
