Lead the Campaign Coordination team responsible for capturing, tracking, improving, and delivering on marketing campaign requests from a multitude of requestors throughout UHC and Optum. The primary responsibility of this role is to work across functions to improve the management and effectiveness of all marketing campaigns via our omnichannel engagement platform.

The Director of Campaign Coordination must be able to understand and employ information about business priorities and market IOI, demonstrate a deep understanding of consumer and stakeholder needs, pain points, goals and channel/communication methods, as well as stay apprised of relevant activities taking place across the enterprise. This leader is ultimately accountable for establishing a process that allows marketing operations to implement cost-cutting initiatives through channel and audience optimization while also increasing the engagement of all campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day to day responsibilities of a team of campaign managers responsible for capturing all marketing campaign information, executing on operational tasks related to required and other non-strategic marketing needs.
  • Lead the member touchpoint governance strategy and technology support team
  • Develop trusting relationships with health plan leaders, internal team members and number external partners/groups through UHC and Optum
  • Support and direct the application of business priorities to drive market-specific engagement and outreach strategies that reduce operational and marketing costs while also working to increase member engagement, retention, quality scores and NPS
  • Oversee the management and execution of all campaign requirements in partnership with business stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and oversight/accountability for all phases of the marketing process - from intake to creative to strategy to channel to data to optimization
  • Engage on other internal and external projects as needed to achieve business and growth goals

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of experience working in a matrix organization
  • 3+ years of experience with operations and/or marketing operations
  • 2+ years people leadership (mentorship, coaching, influencing)
  • Experience managing external vendor partnerships, including scoping, and managing SOWs
  • Experience in leading and managing change and organizational culture.  Proactively identify and remove cross-functional barriers to change
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare products
  • Proactive, self-starter with drive to build first-class data and analytics visualization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters’ Degree in Business or Marketing
  • Experience with marketing & communications
  • Experience managing a cross-functional team
  • Demonstrated strategic marketing capability
  • Administrative skills:  driving execution of deliverables, planning, coordinating, managing resources
  • Communications skills:  building collaborative relationships, resolving roadblocks, managing conflict
  • Leadership skills: coaching, facilitating, influencing without authority, lead organizational change
  • Motivating skills:  goal setting, goal achievement, demonstrate integrity
  • Adjustment/Self-Management skills:  handling stress, personal adaptability, self-motivated
  • Analytical skills: ability to use data to determine results and recommend appropriate next steps

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $113,500 to $218,100. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $113,500 to $218,100. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
