If you are an Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Houston, Texas location, you will support the continued growth of our Zedi Cloud SCADA Solutions (ZCSS) line of business, through commercial activities, technical expertise and an in-depth understanding of the ZCSS products, services and solutions.
AS A DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST, YOU WILL\: 
  • Support the ZCSS Business Development teams as technical sales support
  • Act as Technical Lead and Interface with leadership, project managers, customer care, operations, engineering and field team for high-revenue, Automation full-build and SCADA migration projects
  • Work with Automation Engineering team overseeing integration, development and execution of hardware and software solutions
  • Provide technical support and training for clients and within Emerson
  • Promote Zedi Automation as a Service commercial solutions
  • Provide commercial and technical support to the ZCSS Marketing, Platform and Automation Market Management teams in market lead program development
  • Support the delivery of the ZCSS technology roadmap
WHO YOU ARE\:

You use knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions. You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations, and you scan the environment for new technical skills, knowledge, or capabilities that can benefit business or personal performance. 
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS\:
  • BSc. in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent) with a Professional Engineering designation (PE) considered an asset
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS\:

  • Experience with SCADA and Automation Technology

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry

  • Experience with SaaS cloud technology

  • Experience with Instrumentation, Electrical and Control Systems

  • Knowledge of control system architecture, functionality and features

  • Experience with Ethernet, Radio, Cellular, and Satellite communication

  • Experience in technical sales

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Effective and persuasive communicator

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently

  • Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
