The Senior Digital Marketing Director is responsible for the management, creation, testing, deployment, of compelling digital marketing campaigns that bring new customers to the company's family of products. This role is responsible for optimizing and enabling the success of paid digital marketing channels (Paid search, Paid Social etc) to generate qualified leads that convert to meaningful sales. This role will work in tandem with other digital marketing team members to leverage digital channels to improve customer service, increase website traffic, improve conversion rates, and deepen customer engagement across all of our digital marketing platforms (website, social, e-commerce, etc).

Role Priorities / Responsibilities:

  • This role has the primary responsibility to manage, orchestrate, test and coordinate digital, direct response campaigns.
  • Drive, direct and optimize marketing budget to achieve results across Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter. Ability to pick the right tool (or tools) to achieve results.  
  • The role has experience testing campaigns, tracking performance, reporting results, and making recommendations to senior management.
  • Deep expertise (at least 5 years) in paid search across a multitude of product types.
  • Expert-level Google Search Console
  • Experience with leading, monitoring, and reporting on paid search A/B testing, performance tracking
  • Experience using best-in-class marketing automation tools. Pardot and Salesforce suite of products experience is preferred.
  • Solid experience with web analytics and tagging platforms (Google Analytics)
  • Experience building paid digital media campaigns in new markets and managing budgets to deliver meaningful leads that convert to real sales.  
  • Define, tune, execute, and capitalize on content gaps with our competitors and content optimization opportunities.
  • Provide tactical recommendations to marketing and IT pertaining to SEO.
  • Work collaboratively with the digital marketing team to ensure that website/digital content supports paid media efforts.
  • Ability to write and create content for paid media efforts.
  • Develop, run, and maintain campaigns while extracting insight data to identify relevant trends
  • Exhibit clear understanding of overall brand messaging and goals and manage the development of content for search engine marketing purposes, including but not limited to, keyword generation, blog, and social media copy creation and website copywriting.
  • Develop, execute and monitor keyword rankings with proven data.
  • Reporting (daily and weekly) of paid search investments and results to management.
  • Keep current with trends and advancements in technology, SEO, Google algorithm updates, etc.

Essential Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years in digital marketing or internet marketing role, 3+ years specifically focused on paid digital advertising  (Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, digital media, or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge in Google Ads, SEO best practices, social media ad campaigns.  
  • Strong written communications is required. Formal experience with copyrighting or technical wring is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience using Pardot, SEMrush, Social Studio, Google Search Console  is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with web analytics skills coupled with the ability to analyze and act on data
  • Understanding of how websites work
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Superior organization and planning skills and excellent communication skills on all levels

Preferred Qualifications, Education or Certifications (if applicable):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, digital media, or related field preferred.
