This role is an amazing opportunity for someone with a passion for business and data analysis. This role will be responsible for the management and manipulation of mostly structured data, with a focus on building business intelligence tools, reviewing trend analysis, performing normalization operations and assuring data quality. Team members will typically use business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform root cause analysis and interpret data. Positions in this function work with predominately descriptive and regression-based analytics and tend to. apply data-model enforced solutions on a large scale to achieve business critical accuracy in our database. Responsible for collecting, preparing, analyzing and presenting data to ensure the optimal use and functioning of analytics to meet business needs. Partnering with the analytics consultants and Provider Quality Management teams, the network data analyst will use their analytical knowledge and skill to derive insights which will drive actions and generate value from that intelligence by initiating new analytic solutions, changes to analytics, data quality improvements or providing input to operations processes.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Daily administration and proactive monitoring of business-critical data in the Salesforce and related integrated databases
  • Manage the quality of the data within the database by recommending appropriate workflow and performing proactive data cleansing, merging, de-duplication activities
  • Leverage customized reports and dashboards using the base tools provided by the Analytics team
  • Leverage Salesforce platform, ETL, and Einstein analytics tools to accomplish as much as possible in a short amount of time
  • Ensuring that the API between SFDC and other internal databases is working consistently and properly
  • Manage and update multiple databases for consistency
  • Review recommendation of changes to database design to understand how changes to be made affect database (how data is stored in terms of physical characteristics such as location, amount of space, access method, interconnectivity to other databases)
  • Research and resolve data anomalies
  • Create data dictionaries to document data types, associated business rules, and remediations paths
  • Test and correct errors, and refines changes to database
  • Perform end to end diagnostic analytics to identify data anomalies to be resolved and fixed at source
  • Assist in development of tools to measure provider directory elements compared to Salesforce to ensure accuracy and alignment
  • Assist in the development of training for end users
  • Answer user questions
  • Confers with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on other systems
  • Other duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in health care data analysis or health program evaluation
  • 3+ years of experience in mapping data between data sources
  • Candidate must demonstrate that they are proficient using Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRMs.
  • Proficient in SQL, Tableau, Einstein Analytics and/or equivalent data capture/reporting tools required
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative to excel in a fast-paced environment & pivot priorities as business needs shift
  • Demonstrated ability to manipulate large data sets while understanding both technical and business impacts
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with end users in various departments
