Overview of the Cost Accountant role:

• Collects and analyzes data about a company's operational costs
• Sets standard costs of manufactured goods
• Develops and analyzes cost standards
• Handle cost accounting, internal order/capital projects and finance related matters
• Ensure the integrity of business cost data through designed cost flows, detailed analysis and facilitation of correction of source data
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the proper recording of production, inventory, raw material consumption, and cost / expense data
• Ensure accuracy of inventory counts, analyzing results, book-to-physical reconciliation, investigating variances and resolving issues

Preferred Qualifications for the Cost Accountant:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA Preferred not required
• Datacor ERP Experience is a huge plus!!
