Under broad direction, directs the activities of Customer Service personnel in support of a chemical manufacturing center, the Multi-Chem business line, and field operations objectives. Responsible for developing strong partnerships with external tolling customers, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations personnel. Prepares and administers check-ins, defined levels of accomplishments, and sets goal with individuals. Leads continuous process improvement initiatives and works to improve communication with internal and external customers. Develops procedures and policies for assigned areas, document processes, creates work methods, supports short- and long-range goals consistent with manufacturing and product service line priorities, and monitors performance of functional area to meet business objectives. Maintains compliance with safety policies and procedures, company policy, and export compliance laws.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer service environment and other related areas, such as procurement, materials, or logistics; four-year college degree preferred. Customer service experience within the chemical manufacturing sector strongly preferred. Employee management and mentoring experience required.
